To stay at the top of our industry, Burger Burger, maker of the country’s favorite double-pound meatburger, has to be innovating constantly. New products. New promotions. Such as our Pumpkin Spice Burger, back for fall by popular demand. It’s not enough to be in locations across the country — we have to be in the public eye. Sometimes, we’ll have seven or eight projects going at once with our agency, Calico Agency, from ad campaigns to PR blitzes. Jackie, our account manager, has suggested some kind of marketing with gorillas, which sounds kind of peculiar, but I trust her judgment. With that many project requests flying around all willy-nilly, it could be easy to lose track of details and specs and whatnot. But Calico uses Workamajig, and that makes project requests pretty darn easy.
Man, a Pumpkin Spice Burger sounds good right about now. I need to go out and grab one of those before we replace it with our Peppermeat Mocha Burger for the holidays.
Problem: How do I save time and keep track of all the details when I’m trying to get a bunch of projects started?
Solution: I can request projects in Workamajig and let it handle the rest for me.
Now, Miss Jackie is a ray of pure sunshine, and I can’t think of anyone I’d rather work with, but it’s not always convenient to email back and forth ‘til the cows come home when we’re trying to get projects started. It’s easy to lose emails or miss details, and, by gosh, can it be tiresome. I don’t have to do that, though, working with Calico. Jackie set me up with my own Workamajig account, and I can go straight there to request projects myself. It saves time, and it makes sure all the deadlines and details are right in line and easy to find.
Take our new Mystery Burger, guaranteed all-mammal, in restaurants now. Burger Burger customers have a chance to guess the meat and win free Burger Burger for an entire year. But how will they know to enter if we don’t market to them? Well, all I have to do to request a project is to fill out a handy form in Workamajig. There’s a little space for a project name and a description and when it’s due, and then there’s room for all kinds of specs, like how big a poster is supposed to be or what the Web address is supposed to be or what legal jibber-jabber we have to put in the ads.
Now, I’m not so sure about this gorilla thing. I’ve seen some of those at the zoo, and they just don’t seem like they’d be great at communicating with our valued Burger Burger customers. Maybe those parrots, though. They had a thing or two to say. I’ll hop on Workamajig and request a parrot marketing campaign instead.
