Status reporting is a given…a necessary aspect of just about any creative project of any type. You have a delivery organization, you have a client, you have stakeholders. Everyone needs information…hence, status reporting. But what needs to be on it? What are the most important ingredients of a status report? Not all status reports are created equal. I’m always surprised by clients who want strange information included and others who want what I would consider critical information – like budget status or issues – excluded. Umm…ok.
